Placemaking Indiana is a statewide initiative started at the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority in 2016. Our goal is to support communities interested in implementing their own placemaking through research, technical assistance and funding opportunities. In addition to the placemaking resources that are available through the IHCDA website, every week we will post news and updates on the Placemaking Indiana Blog.
Some of the topics we will post about include:
- Cities and towns we visit and the placemaking projects they are implementing
- Updates on funding opportunities
- News articles we that think are interesting and informative
- Alerts about training opportunities and other events
- Anything else that might inform, inspire or support your own placemaking ideas
We here at Placemaking Indiana are excited to launch this new initiative and to work with communities that are putting people and places at the center of their revitalization efforts.
