Placemaking Globally, What We're Listening To

q8kupes4

If you haven’t already happened upon this, the good folks over at Slate.com have created a podcast series devoted to spaces and the people who shape them.

Placemakersavailable where all fine podcasts are distributed, is now on its seventh weekly episode and has run the gamut of retelling the tale of preservation pioneer Jane Jacobs going head to head with New York City master builder Robert Moses to Spirit on Lake, a retirement community for LGBTQ seniors in Minneapolis.

Hosted by public radio’s Rebecca Sheir and Brian Babylon, Placemakers is a well produced and fascinating telling of the different ways in which our world is shaped.
